I love cover art. I remember reading linear notes and looking at the artwork in cassette tapes growing up. But, when Nine Inch Nails released The Downward Spiral, I couldn’t keep my eyes off it. From the music videos to the packaging, I thought “It’s weird, but I like it.”

Throughout the years, I’ve been drawn to the work of Saul Bass, Tony Saville, Storm Thorgerson, and Dischord Records. When I started doing my own podcasts, it became a chance to bridge the gap between the thematic undertones of each interview and the visual image it left audiences.
